SEPT. 25
Underage consumption. Police were called to Blaine High School, 12555 University Av. NE., because a staff member smelled alcohol on five students. Preliminary breath tests were administered and gave readings of .042, .106, .077, .02 and .113 blood alcohol content. The students, two 18-year-olds and three 17-year-old boys, admitted to drinking. The school asked to handle the incident and not have any criminal charges filed, and an officer agreed. The five students were released to their parents.
SEPT. 27
Burglary. Someone broke into a home on the 100 block of 89th Avenue NE. and threw paint all over inside and damaged items. This is the second time in a month this has happened to the resident. Police said there is a suspect in both cases.
OCT. 1
Drugs. Police executed a search warrant at a home on the 11500 block of Monroe Street NE. Heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in the home, the report said. A 5-year-old boy in the home was placed into the custody of child protection services along with his siblings, who were at school. A 28-year-old woman, a 50-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man were arrested.
SEPT. 28
Theft. A vehicle was stolen from the 900 block of Andover Boulevard NE. The keys to the vehicle were hidden in the bumper.
SEPT. 26
Theft. A utility trailer was stolen from the yard of a home on the 400 block of 206th Avenue NW.
OCT. 3
Burglary. A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of breaking into and burglarizing a business on the 4800 block of Mustang Circle.
OCT. 10
Burglary. Officers responded to an alarm call at a business on the 2500 block of County Road 10. Two male suspects forced open the front door and stole multiple boxes of cigarettes and fled in a small two-door white truck, the report said.
AUG. 30
Harassment. A woman from a home on the 15300 block of Sodium Street NW. called police to say that her neighbors stare at her constantly and she wanted to know what she could do. Police told her they cannot stop the neighbors from looking at her.
AUG. 31
Theft. Someone stole a box containing 100 pornographic DVDs from a business at 6710 Hwy. 10 NW. The value is $2,800.
SEPT. 1
Property damage. Someone threw a roll of paper towels into a tree at a home on the 14600 block of Sodium Street NW. Also, forks and knives were pushed into the yard. In addition, cheese was put on the garage windows and a marker was used to write on the garage door and stone on the front of the house.
OCT. 1
Theft. Officers responded to a shoplifting call at Cub Foods, 3930 Silver Lake Rd. A 17-year-old boy was being held by store security on suspicion of stealing merchandise valued at $21.37. Officers smelled alcohol on the boy's breath. A preliminary breath test was given, with a reading of .125 blood alcohol content. In searching the suspect, police found a scalpel on him. He was arrested and released to the custody of his mother and received a citation for misdemeanor theft, underage consumption of alcohol and possession of a dangerous weapon.
OCT. 2
Underage consumption. Police responded to a welfare check call at Water Tower Park, 3105 33rd Av. NE. Police found a 14-year-old girl sitting on a bench, and it appeared she had been vomiting. The girl was given a breath test and had a reading of .118 blood alcohol content, the report said. She was issued a citation for underage consumption and released to the custody of her mother.
