Watch for road work on 35 in north metro

Last update: October 20, 2009 - 12:10 AM

The Minnesota Department of Transportation warns motorists heading into the Twin Cities on Interstate Hwy. 35 to be prepared for delays and detours as road work continues near Forest Lake and Columbus in the northeast metro area.

The ramp from Broadway Avenue to southbound I-35 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

Ramps to and from Hwy. 97 and southbound I-35 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Motorists should allow extra time getting through the area while roads are resurfaced, MnDOT said.
