SEPT. 11
Theft. A woman from a home on the 600 block of 128th Avenue NE. called police to report that her 11-year-old daughter took her car keys and left in the vehicle. The daughter returned home later with the vehicle.
Theft. Police received a report of juveniles behind a church on the 600 block of 89th Avenue NE. Officers located two men, ages 18 and 19, allegedly stealing playground equipment. Both men were arrested.
SEPT. 14
Theft. A man reported that his Hennepin County Sheriff's Office badge was stolen from his parked vehicle in the driveway of his home. The window on the vehicle was down. The man is a deputy for the office.
SEPT. 18
Indecent exposure. Police reported two boys, partially clothed, streaked across the football field during the halftime show at the Coon Rapids High School football game, 2340 Coon Rapids Blvd. NW. A foot chase took place and the boys eventually lay down in a field across from the football field. According to police, the two 16-year-olds were suspended from school.
SEPT. 19
Disorderly conduct. A man reported that while on his motorcycle on the 2400 block of South Heights Drive NW., he drove into cellophane that had been stretched across the street. The cellophane was attached to two trees near the road. The man was not injured. Police were unable to locate suspects.
SEPT. 7
Drunken driving. An officer pulled behind a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the road facing the wrong way on the 300 block of Forest Road NE. Police said the driver, a 54-year-old man, appeared intoxicated, and he was arrested.
SEPT. 18
Disorderly conduct. An officer was working security detail at a high school football game at Totino Grace, 1350 Gardena Av. NE., and saw three boys run across the field naked after the game. Two boys, both 17 years old, were located and arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
SEPT. 20
Suspicious vehicle. A citizen called police to report a suspicious vehicle at a neighbor's home on the 500 block of 69th Avenue NE. Police found that the vehicle was driven by the homeowner's niece, who was caring for their cat while they were out of town.
SEPT. 21
Suspicious activity. Police were called to the Lifetime Fitness parking lot, 1200 East Moore Lake Drive NE., on a report of a suspicious man with a device trying to gain entry into a vehicle. A woman had locked her keys inside the vehicle and her husband was trying to open it, police said.
SEPT. 21
Underage consumption. Police received a report of two teenage girls running in the road and screaming near Lexington Avenue and Lake Drive. Officers found two 13-year-old girls, and they were given citations for underage consumption and curfew violations. Both girls were released to parental custody.
SEPT. 8
Theft. Cash and miscellaneous items were stolen from a garage sale on the 19300 block of Linnet Street NW.
SEPT. 9
Theft. Someone stole a trailer parked on the side of the garage at a home on the 2000 block of Lake George Parkway NW.
SEPT. 18
Theft. A 30-year-old woman called police to report that approximately six months ago, she left her ring at the pool area on the 2500 block of 38th Avenue N. She had taken the ring off to go swimming and when she returned, the ring was missing. Estimated value is $15,000.
