Police arrest 20-year-old Fridley man sought in shooting late last month

A Fridley man sought for more than a week in connection with a shooting is in custody.

Isiah Jay Chandler, 20, who was arrested Sunday, is being held at the Anoka County jail on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder, according to jail records.

About 12:30 p.m. June 26, police were called to the Rice Creek Townhome complex in Fridley, where they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim said Chandler had shot him and run away, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said at the time.

The victim was in satisfactory condition Monday night at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
