2 killed in separate car crashes

Golden Valley police are investigating a one-car crash that killed a teenage girl, and a fatal crash that occurred Saturday morning outside a Dairy Queen in Victoria.

Golden Valley police are investigating a one-car crash that killed a teenage girl Friday night at Duluth Street and Brunswick Avenue N.

Chief Stacy Altonen released a statement saying a teenage boy in the car was arrested, treated for injuries at North Memorial Medical Center and released pending charges.

She did not release any names or other details.

Another fatal crash occurred Saturday morning outside a Dairy Queen in Victoria. The State Patrol said roads were wet when the two cars collided about 6 a.m. No names or further information was available.
