APRIL 10
Terroristic threats. A woman from the 600 block of 109th Lane NE. reported to police that an unknown man has called her a few times talking about her buttocks. She does not recognize the man's voice or the number calling her. An officer called the man's number and left a message.
APRIL 15
Drugs. An officer observed, from a distance, three people smoking marijuana from a pipe on the deck of a home on the 900 block of 102nd Avenue NE. When he approached the home, he saw a pipe and marijuana on the patio table. All three women were 18 years old. One admitted that the marijuana and pipe belonged to her. She was issued a citation.
APRIL 18
Curfew violation. An officer stopped a vehicle at 12:14 a.m., near 109th Avenue NE. and 6th Street NE., because there were no taillights. The 17-year-old driver admitted that he did not have a driver's license and he took his parents' car without permission. A passenger in the vehicle was out past curfew and in possession of tobacco, and was cited and released to his father. The mother of the driver did not want her son charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Charges are pending.
APRIL 13
Weapons. Someone called police because they saw two juveniles with a gun on the 12000 block of Revere Lane. Officers found two 9-year-old boys playing with a BB gun in their yard. Police confiscated the weapon.
APRIL 22
Burglary. Someone stole a television, books and miscellaneous items from a home on the 100 block of Trussel Avenue.
MAY 2
Arson. An officer saw a boy standing next to the playground equipment in Center Park. When the boy saw the police car, he quickly turned away and put something in his pocket. When questioned, he pulled a lighter from his pocket and said he was trying to burn a T-shirt lying on the ground. During a search of the boy, the officer found a bag of marijuana and a knife. The 14-year-old boy was transported home and released to his mother. He will be charged with arson and possession of marijuana.
APRIL 24
Disorderly conduct. A man called police to report that some kids had lit a bag of dog feces on fire and threw it at his house on the 11600 block of Evergreen Street NW. Police were unable to locate the suspects.
APRIL 27
Theft. Two 16-year-old girls were arrested for shoplifting at Kohl's, 12785 Riverdale Blvd. NW. Both were released to parents.
MAY 4
Theft. A woman left her purse on the sink in the restroom at Baggan's Pub, 3720 East River Rd. When she returned, it was gone.
APRIL 21
Tobacco violation. Police conducted a tobacco compliance check at Northway Tobacco, 9135 South Highway Dr. A 20-year-old male employee did not ask for an identification and sold a pack of cigarettes to the minor volunteer. The employee will be mailed a citation.
APRIL 15
Underage drinking. A 20-year-old White Bear Lake woman was cited for underage consumption at the Mermaid, 2200 County Road 10.
APRIL 26
Drunken driving. Officers found a vehicle in the parking lot of Pinewood Elementary School, 5500 Quincy St., at 2:38 a.m. The vehicle was running and the driver was sleeping behind the wheel. A 34-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
APRIL 28
Burglary. A 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were caught entering an abandoned home on the 5400 block of Jackson Drive. Both boys were turned over to their parents.
