Fridley man faces jail, probation after exposing himself

Last update: February 27, 2009 - 11:35 PM

A Fridley man who repeatedly exposed himself to girls in Roseville, New Brighton and St. Paul was sentenced Friday to 90 days in jail and six years of probation.

Brian E. Thompson, 27, faces three consecutive yearlong sentences and a hefty fine if he does not comply with the conditions of his probation, as set by Ramsey County District Judge Robert Awsumb. Thompson must submit to polygraph tests, have no access to the Internet without permission, have no contact with vulnerable adults or children, not possess any pornographic materials and attend sex offender treatment.

Thompson pleaded guilty in November to three counts of fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct, a gross misdemeanor. Three separate charging documents said he would drive up to juvenile females, ask for directions and then expose his private parts.
