Two raffle tickets worth $1 million sold in Anoka County

Two people who bought Minnesota Millionaire Raffle tickets in Anoka County have reason to rejoice. They are holding tickets worth $1 million while four other players have tickets worth $100,000 after the winning numbers were drawn on New Year's Day, officials from the Minnesota State Lottery said.

Three of the winning $100,000 tickets were sold in Hennepin County and one in Wright County.

The winners were among 500,000 players who participated in the highly publicized game which offered high odds to win. Tickets at $10 each went on sale on Oct. 19 and sold out on Dec. 28.

The winning numbers for the $1 million prize were 457735 and 301425. Numbers drawn for the $100,000 prizes were 331973, 478531, 257,743 and 007823.

Four prizes of $25,000 each will be awarded to those holding tickets 092538, 357304, 057443 and 417672.

One hundred other players won $500. A total of 110 players collectively won more than $2.550 million lottery officials said.

Winners have until Jan. 4, 2010 to claim their prizes.
