The Anoka-Hennepin school board will interview three finalists for superintendent this week after narrowing the pool from six. The three are Michelle Langenfeld, superintendent in Green Bay, Wis; David Law, assistant superintendent for White Bear Lake Area Schools; and Jeff McGonigal, associate superintendent for high schools in the Anoka-Hennepin district.

The new superintendent will succeed Dennis Carlson, who is retiring in June.

Each finalist will spend a day touring schools and participating in question-and-answer sessions with employee groups and the community. The community sessions will run from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Final interviews with the board, which are open to the public, will follow from 8-9 p.m. McGonigal is scheduled for Tuesday, Langenfeld for Wednesday, and Law for Thursday.
