AUG. 2

Underage consumption: A 15-year-old boy was cited for minor consumption and curfew violation after officers found him riding his bicycle at 1:33 a.m. on the 10500 block of Hanson Boulevard NW.

AUG. 4

Theft: Cash and cigarettes were stolen from Fast Trip Market, 12095 Hanson Blvd. NW. An employee was working in a back room when the theft occurred.


AUG. 1

Child endangerment: A woman left eight children in the play area at McDonald’s, 8100 University Av. NE., while she went to Sam’s Club. An officer discussed with the mother why this was inappropriate.

AUG. 3

Assist public: Officers responded to the 6400 block of University Avenue NE. for someone needing directions to Redwood Falls, Minn. An officer gave them directions.

Theft: Change was stolen out of two unlocked vehicles in the driveway of a home on the 7900 block of Riverview Terrace NE.


AUG. 2

Curfew violation: Two 16-year-old boys were cited for curfew violations after officers found them at 2:56 a.m. on Bronson Drive and Quincy Street. They were returned to their parents.

Drugs: Following a traffic stop at County Road 10 and Silver Lake Road, a 17-year-old boy was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, an 18-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and a 17-year-old boy was cited for a seat-belt violation.

Order for protection violation: A 26-year-old woman was arrested for violating an order for protection at an apartment on the 4800 block of Old Highway 8. Also, a 51-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

AUG. 6

Theft: A catalytic converter was cut off of a vehicle in an apartment parking lot on the 2600 block of Scotland Court.
