Police are stepping up their presence in northeast Blaine after reports of a woman driving around in a white van and harassing children.
Sgt. Jeff Warner said the department received a complaint Thursday about the woman in the van taking pictures of children playing in the yard. Another person called later that day to say the driver of the van slowed down while she was walking with her two children and called out to them to come over, according to Warner.
Warner said the van was described as having white windows and playing music similar to that of an ice cream truck, and added that anyone who spots the vehicle should call Anoka County dispatch at 763-427-1212.
