Pastor Tony Oliha, of the New Wine Church in Minneapolis, said his congregation has never experienced a death since its inception in 1999.

“Now, we are meeting, trying to do whatever we can for the family,” he said.

Other family members who survived the crash but remained hospitalized are Fisayo Barbington, 15, who is in critical condition; and Faith Barbington, 12, Oluremi Ogundare, 61, and Tobi Barbington, 5, who are all in fair condition.

A fund has been set up by Wells Fargo Bank. Donations can be sent to Wells Fargo No. 8136435156 at 7945 Ideal Av. S., Cottage Grove, 55016.
