JULY 24
Theft. A bicycle was stolen from the garage of a home on the 900 block of 140th Lane NW. The overhead garage door was left open. The thief left an old bicycle behind.
JULY 15
Indecent exposure. A 66-year-old man was arrested for indecent exposure after he exposed his genitals and waved at a woman at Barnes and Noble, 710 County Road 10.
JULY 9
Theft. Someone stole 16 or 17 cellphones from Wal-Mart, 13020 Riverdale Drive NW. An employee left the phone case unlocked.
Underage consumption. A 19-year-old man was cited for underage consumption of alcohol after officers found him staggering in the middle of the street in the 10300 block of Hummingbird Street NW. He was released to his mother.
Forgery. A manager at Wal-Mart, 13020 Riverdale Drive NW., reported receiving 19 counterfeit bills.
JULY 12
Weapon. A 71-year-old man was cited for discharge of a weapon within the city limits in the 200 block of 104th Lane NW. He was shooting at a rabbit with a BB gun. He had been previously warned of this behavior in 2002.
JULY 13
Child endangerment. A 22-year-old woman arrested for child endangerment at a home in the 10400 block of Crane Street NW after she and her 20-year-old male friend left her 2-year-old daughter home alone at 11:57 p.m. for over 40 minutes while they rode their bicycles. Both were intoxicated, and he was cited for underage consumption. The child's grandfather arrived at the scene to pick her up.
JULY 12
Assisting a family. A 16-year-old boy was reportedly out of control because his mom took away his iPod for not doing his chores at a home on the 8100 block of Ruth Street NE. Officers mediated the situation and the boy understood how to do his fair share to get his iPod back.
JULY 16
Lost child. A 4-year-old boy was found wandering by himself near the SuperAmerica at 7299 Hwy. 65 NE. After officers arrived, a parent appeared and said the child had wandered off from a nearby mobile home park.
Prostitution. Ten adult males were arrested for soliciting prostitution from an undercover police officer at a hotel on the 5200 block of Central Avenue NE. The next day, 14 adult males were arrested for the same offense at the same hotel.
JULY 25
Property damage. Someone threw baby powder in an unlocked vehicle on the 1800 block of 135th Lane NE.
JULY 17
Indecent exposure. A 33-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he had smoked PCP and was found running around naked in the street on the 3600 block of Bryant Avenue N. He was combative and bruised an officer's nose and broke his glasses.
JULY 19
Weapons. A 66-year-old man who owns ABC Liquor at 2832 County Road 10 was arrested for felony reckless discharge of a firearm after he fired a shot at a male suspect who stole a bottle of liquor.
JULY 21
Indecent exposure. A 27-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he was found running naked in the street on the 2400 block of County Road I. He told officers he had eaten mushrooms.
OAK GROVE
JULY 17
Theft. Three guns were stolen from the 22800 block of Zion Parkway NW.
AUG. 6
Theft. Two boys, ages 13 and 15, stole $40 worth of merchandise from the Radio Shack at 2701 39th Av. and fled.
