1999: The year Target constructed its first building in Brooklyn Park. It now owns 350 acres in the city.
1.2 million: Square footage of office space Target will have in Brooklyn Park when the new buildings are completed in 2014.
3,000: Number of additional Target employees based in Brooklyn Park when the project is done. That would bring the total to 4,400. Target has more than 365,000 employees worldwide.
26,000: Current total number of jobs in Brooklyn Park.
1,500: Privately held acres in Brooklyn Park that are available for development.
$65 million: City's estimate of the value of the new Target properties.
$2 million: Expected addition to the city's property tax revenue from the Target project alone.
