A federal fugitive is in custody after a standoff with local and federal law enforcement officials Wednesday morning in Brooklyn Park. No one was injured.

Just before 8 a.m., members of the Minnesota Safe Streets Violent Crime Task Force arrived  at a house on the 8400 block of Logan Av. N. to serve an arrest warrant on Dionte Hubbard. Hubbard, 25, was wanted on a number of charges, including aggravated robbery, burglary and weapons violations, said FBI spokesman Kyle Loven. Hubbard's last registered address was in Minneapolis.

When he resisted arrest, members of the task force, Brooklyn Park and Minneapolis police departments and the FBI began to set up for a standoff and to evacuate the block, said Brooklyn Park Police Inspector Todd Milburn.

Within about an hour, Hubbard gave himself up. Officials took him into custody and halted the evacuation.
