Andover

FEB. 1 -- FEB. 8

Vandalism. There was a rash of vandalism near the 13400 block of NW. Narcissus Street, including slashed tires and damage to playground equipment at a park. Deputies caught three suspects after a resident in the area called 911 about a group of kids who were throwing snowballs at vehicles. The information lead deputies to three boys who were responsible for the vandalism.

Arden Hills

JAN. 18

Fire. A mobile home fire occurred in the 1900 block of Banyan Street. The resident was working on frozen pipes when the electrical tape caught fire beneath the trailer. The resident was able to evacuate his daughter and dog safely.

Burglary. A Minneapolis man was arrested at Thom Drive and Cleveland Avenue for burglarizing a business in the 3800 block of Cleveland Avenue. The man drove off in a white van, but his vehicle got stuck in a snow bank. Police recovered a laptop stolen from the business.

Blaine

FEB. 6

Theft. A woman in the 3000 block of 93rd Avenue NE. reported that someone opened her mail and stole $25 from a birthday card.

BURNS TOWNSHIP

FEB. 1 -- FEB. 8

Burglary. A house in the 21300 block of NW. Lithium Street was burglarized after someone kicked in a garage service door and entered the house through an unsecured door.

Burglary. A house in the 20300 block of NW. Engen Boulevard was burglarized. The front door was kicked in.

Champlin

JAN. 21

Auto theft. A vehicle was stolen from the 11000 block of Jefferson Court.

Auto theft. A vehicle was stolen from the 7000 block of 111th Avenue.

Coon Rapids

FEB. 1

Property damage. A woman in the 12400 block of NW. Swallow Street reported that someone threw a baked potato at her house, causing minor damage to the siding.

Crystal

JAN. 30

Burglary. A house in the 6400 block of Brentwood Avenue was burglarized, and more than $9,500. in electronics were stolen including an Apple MacBook, a desktop computer and an external hard drive.

Theft. A vehicle in the 5000 block of W. Broadway Avenue was broken into and about $14,000. in karaoke equipment and CDs were stolen.

JAN. 31

Theft. A man was arrested for shoplifting more than $190. in shrimp from a grocery store in the 5300 block of 36th Avenue N.

FEB. 5

Burglary. A house in the 6400 block of Lombardy Lane was burglarized, and three shotguns and a jar of change were stolen.

East Bethel

FEB. 1 -- FEB. 8

Burglary. A deputy responded to a suspicious activity call in the 1100 block of 241st Avenue NE. When the deputy arrived he found the suspect in the garage with a pickup truck backed up to an open overhead garage door. The front door of the house was kicked in and copper pipes were cut from the water softener, water heater, furnace, and the ceiling in the basement laundry room. The home is currently in foreclosure. The suspect was arrested.

Fridley

JAN. 31

Theft. An unlocked pickup truck was ransacked overnight while parked in a driveway in the 6800 block of Siverts Lane. A cell phone charger, CDs and a lighter were stolen. While police were taking a report for the incident, a neighbor advised that someone rifled through three vehicles in his driveway overnight, but nothing was stolen or damaged.

Warrant. Officers stopped a vehicle for driving without headlights on in the dark. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant. She called her sister to come get the vehicle. The sister arrived with her husband, who also had a warrant. Both were taken to jail.

Oak Grove

FEB. 1 -- FEB. 8

Theft. Several mailboxes were damaged in the 21700 and 21900 blocks of NW. Woodbine Street.

Ramsey

JAN. 28

Burglary. A house in foreclosure in the 14700 block of NW. Cobalt Street was burglarized. Items used to stage the home by a Realtor were stolen, including artwork and flower arrangements.

Theft. A man's wallet, keys and cell phone were stolen from an unlocked locker in the 3700 block of Lexington Avenue. The thief used the stolen car keys to enter the man's car and steal CDs.
