Fridley teen wins dream date

Tween girls, teenage girls and even some of their moms wish they could snag a date with "High School Musical" star Corbin Bleu, but 17-year-old Haley Fowler of Fridley actually did.

The Totino-Grace High School senior sent a "'Twas the Night Before Prom"-themed love poem to a teen magazine contest last spring in the hopes of meeting the Disney Channel star.

In eight days, she will fly to Los Angeles for the date with Bleu and his publicist.

Her winning poem included this line: "I ran to the door / I flew like a flash / and there stood my dream date, Corbin Bleu wearing the prom king sash."

What will she wear?

"It's up in the air right now," she said Friday, with a laugh.
