BLAINE
AUG. 24
Theft. Police stopped a vehicle in the 10000 block of University Avenue NE. after a report that a vehicle-tampering suspect was in the area. The two occupants of the vehicle fled on foot but police apprehended them. The car they had been driving turned out to have been stolen from Brooklyn Park.
Theft. Somebody stole a laptop, an MP3 player, a gym bag with clothes, and two charm bracelets, total value $5,000, from a vehicle in the 10900 block of NE. 5th Street.
AUG. 25
Theft. Two children's bikes were taken from a front porch in the 8500 block of NE. Yalta Street.
AUG. 26
Disorderly conduct. A boy said that he was pushed off his bike by four other kids in the 10600 block of NE. Quincy Boulevard. The other boys denied pushing him and said that he'd fallen off his bike while he was "mooning" them. All five children were returned to their parents.
AUG. 27
Forgery. A woman was arrested for trying to fill a forged prescription for Percocet painkillers at K-Mart, 8949 University Av.
AUG. 28
Burglary. A laptop, a Playstation 2 and an iPod were stolen from an apartment in the 11700 block of NE. 3rd Street.
AUG. 30
Theft. Stolen from a vehicle in the 9400 block of NE. Naples Street were: two digital cameras, an electric toothbrush, an art print, a sculpture, CDs, two 2-way radios, bungee cords, towels, golf clubs and other golf equipment, rugs, a bicycle a bug zapper, camping equipment, motocross equipment, and other items, total value $7,000.

AUG. 26
Theft. A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 6800 block of Humboldt Avenue N.
AUG. 27
Robbery. A robbery was reported in the 6000 block of Brooklyn Boulevard.
Burglary. A home in the 6400 block of Lee Avenue N. was burglarized.
AUG. 29
Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 6200 block of Brooklyn Boulevard.
BROOKLYN PARK
AUG. 16
Theft. A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 6800 block of 63rd Avenue N.
AUG. 17
Theft. Vehicle parts were stolen in the 9700 block of Upton Avenue N.
AUG. 20
Burglary. A burglary of an occupied home was reported in the 7800 block of N. Florida Circle.
AUG. 22
Burglary. A business in the 7300 block of Brooklyn Boulevard was burglarized.

AUG. 19
Theft. A stereo, a DVD and other items were taken from a vehicle in the 10000 block of Fox Hollow Lane.
AUG. 20
Theft. Cash was stolen from a home in the 100 block of E. Hayden Lake Road.
AUG. 21
Theft. A laptop was taken from a home in the 400 block of Dayton Road.
AUG. 30
Burglary. Somebody stole jewelry from a home in the 11000 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
Theft. Cash was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Dayton Road.
CIRCLE PINES
AUG. 28
Theft. A truck was stolen in the 100 block of Canterbury Road.
COON RAPIDS
AUG. 29
Theft. Tools were stolen from an unlocked storage shed in the 3800 block of 119th Avenue NW.
Theft. A caller in the 3500 block of 124th Avenue NW. reported that she'd lost her phone in Anoka two weeks before and that a man contacted her and said he'd give it to her for $100. She told police that she met the man and offered him $20, but he refused and left with the phone. She got the man's license plate number and police tracked down the man, who said he felt entitled to the $100 and would not give the phone back. An officer told him that he could be charged with possession of stolen property and theft unless he returned the phone. He relented and turned it over.
AUG. 30
Disturbance. A woman reported that while she was sitting in a parking spot at Coon Rapids Medical Center pharmacy when a man pulled up next to her in a 15-minute parking space. She told the driver that he was parking in a 15-minute spot, and he said that was fine, because he'd be back soon. He came back in a few minutes, stuck his head through the woman's open car window and yelled "I told you I would only be a few minutes." The woman then called police.
AUG. 31
Burglary. A mountain bike, two check cards and $780 were stolen from a home and garage in the 11900 block of NW. Sycamore Circle.
Theft. Jewelry valued at $15,750 was reported missing from a home in the 1600 block of 119th Avenue NW.
SEPT. 1
Property damage. The ignitions of a Bobcat and a mini-excavator were damaged at a construction site near NW. Hanson Boulevard and 127th Avenue NW.
SEPT. 2
Theft. A Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was stolen in the 11200 block of NW. Hanson Boulevard.
CRYSTAL
AUG. 24
Theft. A bicycle was stolen in the 6800 block of 32nd Avenue N.
Theft. Two bottles of vodka were stolen from a store in the 6200 block of 56th Avenue N.
AUG. 27
Theft. A diamond engagement ring, a check card, a wallet and $23 were stolen in the 4700 block of 36th Avenue N.
AUG. 28
Arson. A vehicle was set on fire in the 5100 block of W. Broadway Avenue.
FALCON HEIGHTS
SEPT. 1
Theft. A man pre-paid for $3 in gas at SuperAmerica, 1350 Larpenteur Av., and then went out and pumped $53.98 from a different pump. When an employee confronted him about it, he said it wasn't his fault and drove off. Police contacted the owner of the vehicle, who is the father of the culprit. Arrangements were made to pay the difference.
FRIDLEY
AUG. 28
Found property. A truck with no wheels was found in the 5200 block of 3rd Street. It turned out to have been stolen from Plymouth.
AUG. 29
Theft. A wallet was stolen from a locker at Life Time Fitness, 1200 E. Moore Lake Drive.
Property damage. Two of a vehicle's windows were broken at Wal-Mart, 8450 University Av. NE.
AUG. 31
Theft. A lawnmower and a snowblower were stolen from a garage in the 5900 block of 2nd Street.
Theft. Somebody stole three phone chargers, two DVDs, a mug and a newspaper from SuperAmerica, 7447 East River Road.
SEPT. 2
Theft. An iPod and a handful of change were taken from a vehicle in the 7500 block of Tempo Terrace.
SEPT. 4
Theft. A purse and an owner's manual were stolen from a vehicle in the 5000 block of 3rd Street.
LAUDERDALE
AUG. 26
Theft. Officers saw a man taking a bag of ice from an ice chest outside Super USA, 2424 Larpenteur Av., about 1:45 a.m. The store was closed. When the man turned and saw the officers, he immediately threw the ice back into the freezer. When questioned, the 42-year-old man claimed that he was going to come back in the morning to pay for the ice.
AUG. 27
Assault. A 38-year-old woman was arrested after she kicked a 55-year-old woman down a small flight of stairs at an apartment building in the 1600 block of Carl Street.
AUG. 30
Robbery. A woman reported that an acquaintance stole her purse in the 1600 block of Eustis Street.
MAPLEWOOD
AUG. 28
Burglary. A motorcycle was stolen from a garage in the 1900 block of Arcade Street.
Theft. A cell phone and a blue Coogi sweatshirt were stolen from a couch at the Myth nightclub, 3090 Southlawn Drive.
AUG. 31
Burglary. Somebody broke into an apartment office in the 2500 block of Ivy Avenue and stole cash and other items.
SEPT. 1
Burglary. A TV, a CD changer and prescription drugs were stolen from a home in the 2800 block of White Bear Avenue.
Theft. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.
SEPT. 3
Burglary. A glass door was broken and liquor was stolen at A1 Liquor, 19 Century Av.
MOUNDS VIEW
SEPT. 4
Theft. A caller in the 2200 block of Kingsway Lane reported the theft of $176.
Property damage. At least 34 sprinkler heads were damaged at a property in the 5200 block of Quincy Street.
RAMSEY
AUG. 17
Theft. Two of a vehicle's windows were broken and two purses were stolen in the 9400 block of Hwy. 10.
AUG. 19
Property damage. A cash register was damaged in an apparent theft attempt in the 8400 block of 161st Avenue NW.
Theft. A motorcycle was stolen from a yard in the 17300 block of NW. St. Francis Boulevard.
AUG. 20
Fraud. A resident of the 6200 block of NW. 164th Lane reported that he'd sold a four-wheeler for $3,800 to a buyer through Craigslist.org, and that the buyer had sent a cashier's check for $6,740 and wanted the difference sent to a man in North Carolina. The seller checked with his bank, which informed him that it was a scam.
Fraud. A caller in the 7000 block of NW. 157th Lane reported fraudulent charges on a credit card: $851 for a computer from Best Buy and $1 for a song from iTunes.
Assault. Police arrested a man who is accused of assaulting his female roommate in the 15200 block of NW. Flourine Street.
ST. ANTHONY
AUG. 28
Burglary. Somebody broke into Nativity Lutheran Church and stole $180 from an office.
SEPT. 1
Theft. A toolbox and tools, total value $1,600, were taken from a vehicle in the 2800 block of Silver Lane.
