Authorities have identified the man killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Isanti County as Evan Gregory Stein, 18, of Anoka.

Stein died of blunt-force injuries Sunday morning at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, where he was taken after the crash, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner.

Stein was a passenger in a car that collided with a pickup truck on Hwy. 47 around 8:40 p.m. The driver of the car, Nicole Laabach, 17, of Anoka, suffered minor injuries. Two people in the truck -- driver Ryan Baron, 27, of Browerville, Minn., and Jay Winter, 28, of Clarissa -- were not seriously hurt, the State Patrol said.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The patrol said alcohol did not appear to play a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
