The FBI says this man robbed a TCF Bank inside a Cub Foods store in St. Anthony on Wednesday.

The Minneapolis FBI is looking for a man who held up the TCF Bank inside a Cub Foods store in St. Anthony on Wednesday afternoon.

A man wrote a threatening note on a deposit slip demanding money and gave it to a teller. The note implied the suspect had a gun, but no weapon was seen, said E.K. Wilson, a special agent with the FBI.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, then left the bank at 3930 NE. Silver Lake Road on foot around 12:25 p.m., Wilson said.

The suspect was described as a white or Asian man, around 5 feet 7, clean-shaven and wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, dark shorts and white tennis shoes.

The branch has been hit before, including on July 1. One person was arrested in connection with that heist.

Anyone with information on Wednesday's robbery is asked to call the FBI at 612-376-3200.
