A witness, a tip and Facebook led Minneapolis police to arrest a man in connection with gunfire at Bar 19 that injured two men.

Devon Michael Glen Strouss, 23, is charged with two counts of second-degree assault and one count of discharging a firearm in the shooting Wednesday night, Strouss' birthday. Strouss was booked Friday in the Hennepin County jail and was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Hennepin County District Court on Monday.

After the shooting, police said it was connected to a disgruntled patron who opened fire after being kicked out for bringing his dog inside the bar, 19 W. 15th St., near Loring Park. Strouss also allegedly was intoxicated at the time, had become a nuisance and was asking to be served, the criminal complaint against him said.

According to the complaint, a witness saw Strouss go into a nearby apartment building after the shooting, which left at least five bullet holes in the bar's front door and sent the men to Hennepin County Medical Center with noncritical injuries.

The tip to police included Strouss' Facebook page, the complaint said, and when police reviewed it, they found photos of a dog similar to the one with the shooter. One of the victims later identified Strouss as the gunman from a photo lineup, according to the complaint.
