Target Field will host its second Skyline Music Festival, with Melissa Etheridge headlining the acts to perform in an amphitheater setting.

Joining the rock singer-songwriter Aug. 9 will be O.A.R. and the Rembrandts. Minnesota's Gear Daddies and the Honeydogs will also perform, organizers announced Wednesday.

Tickets go on sale to the general public June 11 at 10 a.m. at www.twinsbaseball.com. Prices range from $29 to $79. Last year's tickets sold for $25 to $45.

The stage will be in foul territory near third base, with seating limited to sections along the stadium's third base side. The configuration makes for a more intimate setting for concertgoers, who can also take in the view of the Minneapolis skyline beyond the right-field wall.

Gates for the festival will open at 4 p.m., with music starting at 5 p.m.

The initial festival, on July 26, 2013, drew a capacity crowd of 6,752. Performing were Soul Asylum, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Matthew Sweet and Gear Daddies.
