A man died early Thursday morning from an apparent gunshot wound in a south Minneapolis apartment, according to police.
Shortly before 3 a.m., police responded to the shooting in the 3000 block of Grand Avenue South. The officers and medical personnel treated the victim, but he died at the scene.
Police said that preliminary information indicates that this was not a random act. Homicide investigators are interviewing witnesses. No arrests have been made.
