Bret Michaels of the glam metal band Poison will play an "up close and personal acoustic appearance" for a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fundraiser Sunday in Minneapolis.
The event will begin at 4 p.m. at the Pourhouse, 10 S. 5th St. The Tim Mahoney Band, Crankshaft, the Cole Allen Band, Tony Ortiz, Nici Peper, Elijah Adam, Saving Starz, BKS and Clifton Wales also will perform.
All proceeds from the $50-a-person event will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org).
Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States and 70,000 people worldwide, according to the foundation.
