A man's body was found Friday morning in north Minneapolis in what authorities are calling a suspicious death.

Police spokesman Sgt. Stephen McCarty said the body was discovered about 4:30 a.m. on the street on Aldrich Avenue N., just north of Plymouth Avenue. The body had no obvious stab or gunshot wounds, he added.

An employee of a nearby business spotted the man and called police, the sergeant said.

Police have yet to say how the man died or reveal his identity. There have been no arrests. "It is a suspicious death at this time," McCarty said.
