Minneapolis teens will be able to scout employment opportunities and pick up tips on landing a job on Saturday at the downtown Minneapolis library.
The job fair for ages 14 to 19 will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at the library, 300 Nicollet Mall.
Teens will be able to speak to representatives of local businesses and community agencies about job and college options, careers and volunteer opportunities. They may apply for STEP-UP, the city's summer jobs program. The event also will offer workshops on job search skills and library resources.
The event is sponsored by city and state economic development agencies, the downtown library and Achieve!Minneapolis.
