Last update: October 27, 2009 - 7:51 PM

An accident involving a school bus carrying students from Oltman Middle School in St. Paul Park sent the driver of the other vehicle to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

The students and the driver of the bus weren't hurt, said Barb Brown, a spokesperson for the South Washington School District. Brown said she didn't know what injuries the driver of the vehicle suffered.

The collision occurred at about 2:50 p.m. at Hadley Avenue S. and 95th Street S. in Cottage Grove. The 42 two middle school students who were headed home in Cottage Grove were put onto another bus after the accident, Brown said.

Police are investigating, she said.
