A Shoreview man who is charged with sexually assaulting his date has been charged with several sex crimes related to the alleged treatment of another woman.

Jeffrey M. Eldred, 32, was charged Friday in Hennepin County District Court with four felonies: one count of stalking and three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with someone who is impaired.

The Hennepin County case came to light when a woman alerted the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office in November to an alleged assault she suffered at Eldred's Shoreview home.

Authorities examining photographs the woman took of at least 40 alleged videos recorded by Eldred discovered the second alleged victim.

The alleged crimes committed against the second woman occurred while she was asleep or unconscious, authorities said.

According to the criminal complaint filed against Eldred in Hennepin County: Authorities discovered several videos on Eldred's cellphone depicting the second woman. She appeared to be asleep in the videos as her body was exposed, and as Eldred allegedly sexually assaulted her in multiple ways.

Authorities recovered photos and videos of the alleged victim that were taken between Dec. 2017 and Sept. 2018. The woman told police that the alleged activity occurred in Hennepin County, and that she was not aware he had videotaped her.

Eldred allegedly contacted the woman on Nov. 28 to apologize and asked her if she was going to pursue criminal charges against him.

The woman called Eldred in a phone conversation that was recorded by police. He allegedly denied having sex with multiple people or recording the acts.

Eldred had been charged on Nov. 26 in Ramsey County District Court with one count of attempted third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving the first woman, whom he met on the dating app Tinder.

Authorities continue to investigate the other videos, and the identities of anyone depicted in them.
