Rock Island Swing Bridge tours

What: National Park Service rangers will give public tours on the Rock Island Swing Bridge from the Dakota County side today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Take Concord Avenue in Inver Grove Heights to 66th St. E. Drive east to the road barrier. Walk to the bridge from there.

Why: Dakota County and the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area want to explore potential new uses for the bridge, closed since 1999.
