Amateur photographers recently put their talent to work to capture the beauty of the St. Croix River watershed in this year's contest.
More than 130 photographs were submitted to the St. Croix River Association for competition in four categories for youth and adults: Landscape, People, Wildlife and Close-up.
Professional photographer Gary Alan Nelson was the judge for the contest, now in its fourth year.
