AFTON

JUNE 18

Suspicious activity. Two men who offered to update a home security system in the 4000 block of River Road were asked to leave when they showed the resident a tablet with different systems and asked which was hers. The resident asked for extra patrol of the neighborhood.

FOREST LAKE

JUNE 17

Suspicious pontoon. A pontoon was reported tied to a dock in the 21000 block of Harrow Road without permission. The complainant said they did not know whose boat it was and, because of the weather, it was damaging the dock. Contact was made with the owner, who didn’t know the pontoon had broke loose or who had secured it to the complainant’s dock.

LAKE ELMO

JUNE 17

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 5000 block of Lake Elmo Avenue reported hearing someone walking across their deck at night. There were no signs of attempted break-ins. The resident was advised to call authorities when it is taking place and to get motion lights for the deck.

LAKELAND

JUNE 19

Suspicious activity. Three juveniles were reported on the roof of Afton-Lakeland Elementary School, 475 St. Croix Trail. A deputy detained two of the kids. Their parents were contacted and advised of the trespassing. No damage was done to the school.

Noise complaint. Someone complained about the sound of motorcycle engines in the Indian Motorcycle lot, 2967 Hudson Road

MAHTOMEDI

JUNE 18

Suspicious situation. A red lunch cooler was reported left at a bus stop in the 700 block of Mahtomedi Avenue. The complainant thought it seemed to be too big for anyone to have forgotten it. A deputy checked the cooler and found it contained someone’s lunch and nothing suspicious.
