Animal complaint. Someone in the 5000 block of Northbrook Boulevard reported their dog was attacked by a neighbor's dog.

DENMARK TOWNSHIP

JUNE 16

Fraud report. A woman called the Sheriff's Department to get a police report for an unauthorized purchase of an RV generator made on her credit card.

JUNE 12

Neighbor complaint. A man working on a truck in his driveway was reported in the 5000 block of 138th Street. The complainant objected to the junker vehicle sitting in the driveway and the man revving the engine when he frequently goes out to fix it. She was told he had the right to work on the truck on his property and she should contact her housing association about her complaints.

JUNE 16

Missing bird. A white and gray cockatiel was reported missing in the 5000 block of Finley Bay.

LAKE ST. CROIX BEACH

JUNE 14

Suspicious activity. A caller reported witnessing a female quickly get off a bicycle and into a sedan in the 1000 block of Quebec Avenue. The female then sat in the vehicle with another female. A deputy checking on the situation discovered the female was being picked up because it was raining. The two remained in the car waiting out a downpour before they collected the bike.

LANDFALL

JUNE 13

Neighbor dispute. A deputy checked on an altercation between neighbors involving one of them speeding in the 10 block of Juniper Curve. All parties acknowledged it was verbal only. The driver accused of speeding was advised to slow down.

MARINE ON ST. Croix

JUNE 12

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 16000 block of Saint Croix Trail reported her rat terrier missing. She wanted the UPS delivery person contacted because she thought they may have accidentally let the dog out. Before a deputy could look into the incident she called and said the dog had returned home.

JUNE 13

Hitchhiker complaint. Authorities picked up a hitchhiker in the 16000 block of Saint Croix Trail and transported him to downtown Marine on St. Croix.

OAKDALE

JUNE 9

Neighbor complaint. A resident in the 600 block of Heron Circle told police his neighbor yelled at him for having his truck up on blocks and his garbage/recycling containers in front of his house. An officer talked to the neighbor who said the ordinance violations were an ongoing problem and he would call police whenever they occur.

JUNE 10

Animal concern. An officer rescued eight ducklings from a sewer in the 4600 block of Hayward Road. The officer was unable to locate the ducklings' mother. They were transported to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota in Roseville.

JUNE 11

Theft. A four-bicycle bike rack was stolen off a vehicle parked at the Marcus Oakdale Cinema, 5677 Hadley Ave.

JUNE 12

Juvenile runaway. An officer located two 4-year-old girls walking in the 6000 block of 15th Street. One of the girls told the officer she was running away with her cousin. They were returned home.

PINE SPRINGS

JUNE 9

Slumper. A man was reported sleeping in a vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Hytrail Avenue at 7:30 a.m. The man told a deputy he was a paper delivery man who had just finished his route and was sleeping until he needed to take his car into the shop for maintenance.
