Animal concern. A loose horse was reported in traffic on Neal Avenue south of 15th Street. A deputy checked but was unable to locate the horse in the area.
Long boarding complaint. A group of skateboarders were reported on the road with a vehicle driving behind them on 50th Street between Quadrant Avenue and River Road. A deputy located the group and determined there was not a problem and they were not blocking the road.
Animal concern. The owner of eight sheep that had been reported loose in the 13000 block of 15th Street let the Sheriff’s Department know she was en route to contain them.
Animal concern. Two black bears were reported in the front yard of a home in the 10000 block of 60th Street Lane. One of the bears reportedly climbed a tree in the yard before passing through.
Suspicious activity. A resident in the 6000 block of 145th Circle reported footprints in the snow that went around the home and up a flight of stairs to a patio door. The resident requested an extra patrol in the area.
Suspicious activity. Two people were reported apparently gutting a deer on Forest Boulevard between 134th and 137th Street. It was determined that the two were part of a roadside ditch cleanup crew detail.
Natural gas smell. Someone reported a rotten egg smell in the area of Hudson Boulevard and Keats Avenue. It was determined that the smell was the result of a crew working on gas lines nearby.
