The program is for ages 14 and older, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Classes will be Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. through Sept. 5 at Lake Elmo Park Reserve’s North Picnic Shelter. Outdoor Yoga classes are $5 per class per person; all vehicles also must have a valid vehicle parking permit, which is $5 per day or $25 annually.
This is a beginner to intermediate yoga series led by registered yoga teacher Kim Thomas. Participants should plan to arrive 10 minutes early and bring their own yoga mat. Drinking fountains, restrooms and ample parking are available at the North Picnic Shelter. In case of rain, classes will be indoors at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve’s Nordic Center.

Museum to benefit from from 4th annual Afton Fest
The 4th Annual Afton Fest, a fundraiser for the Afton Historical Museum, will run from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, in Afton’s Town Square Park. Admission is free.
Music will be provided by the Zebra Mussels, and beer, wine, food and dancing will be part of the festivities.
An iPad and other prizes will be raffled off.
Parker photographs go on display at Discovery Center
Works by photographer David Parker will be displayed during the month of August at the Oakdale Discovery Center, 4444 Hadley Av.
