Family members and friends plan to hold a vigil Thursday evening at Keller Lake in Maplewood for Kira Trevino.

Trevino, 30, has been missing since late February and is presumed dead.

The vigil will start at 7:30 p.m. at the walking bridge at the north end of the lake. Keller Regional Park is located in Maplewood at the intersection of U.S. 61 and Minnesota 36.

A Facebook group created for the event said attendees can bring their own candles if they wish.

"Let us come together to support her loved ones and remember her bright and vibrant soul," the event said. "If you are unable to attend, but wish to be there in spirit, please light a candle at home and let it burn for her."

Trevino was last seen alive on Feb. 21 leaving the Mall of America with her husband, Jeffery Trevino. She worked at the clothing retailer, Delia's, at the mall. Jeffery Trevino, 39, is charged with two counts of second-degree murder in her disappearance.

Authorities found "copious" amounts of blood in the couple's home, located two miles from Keller Lake, and other evidence that led to her husband's arrest. He has an omnibus hearing scheduled for Friday afternoon.

The monthlong search for Kira Trevino has zeroed in on Keller Lake, where authorities drilled dozens of holes this week and searched with cadaver dogs Wednesday. "Items of interest" have been recovered at the park, including a pillow with blood that matched Kira Trevino's DNA, but Wednesday's effort did not recover anything.
