Man who used store Wi-Fi to view child porn gets jail

A man who took advantage of the free Wi-Fi service offered by a Roseville coffee shop to view child pornography was sentenced Friday to four months in jail.

Loren C. Oulman, 69, of St. Paul, told Ramsey County District Judge Michael Fetsch, "I've done wrong and I'm doing whatever I have to correct that."

Oulman pleaded guilty to five counts of possession of child pornography; in exchange, five other counts were dismissed.

According to the criminal complaint, a woman told a Dunn Bros. manager that on July 7 she had seen Oulman looking at a pornographic photo of a child on his laptop in the hallway between the coffee shop and the business where she works. The manager told Oulman to stop. On July 30, Oulman returned to the coffee shop, and police were called. Investigators found 200 photos and four movies, all child pornography, on Oulman's computer.
