Found rooster. A rooster, white with black tail feathers, was found in the 16000 block of Putnam Boulevard. The caller told police he'd keep the rooster until the owner was found.
Damage to property. A homeowner heard a disturbance outside his residence at 2:40 a.m. in the 12000 block of 53rd Street and reported seeing three males, one naked, running away. The mailbox and driveway light of the home were smashed. Police received other reports of mailboxes damaged, garbage cans tipped over and political signs vandalized in the area that evening.
In park after hours. A group of people who told police they went to Pebble Park, 8160 Lake Jane Trail, to smoke from a hookah pipe, were cited for being in the park after hours.
Fleeing on foot. An officer observed a male and female standing around in the area of Dunbar Knoll and Dunbar Way at 2:18 a.m. When the officer shone a spotlight on the pair the male kicked what appeared to be a 12-pack of beer under a vehicle. When the officer identified himself the male grabbed the 12-pack and ran away. The officer made contact with the female and was able to determine the male's identity. His parents were contacted and he was given a citation for fleeing an officer.
Found narcotics. A sentencing-to-service crew found an unlabeled prescription bottle with various suspicious looking pills inside while clearing brush in the 200 block of Warner Avenue.
Car-cow collision. A vehicle collided with a cow on Manning Trail south of 170th Street. The driver of the vehicle was not injured but was worried about the cow. The driver thought the animal was injured, even though it walked away. The cow couldn't be found and was suspected to have found its way back to its pasture.
Disturbance. A group of people were reported yelling at each other in the 4100 block of Gershwin Avenue. Police located a group of females barbecuing at the address. They were not yelling at each other but told police they had been talking loudly, which might have been mistaken for yelling.
Juvenile problem. Police responded to a report of four juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles in the area of 9th Street and Inwood Avenue. An officer made contact with two juveniles, who said they were throwing rocks at a stop sign and not vehicles. They were advised not to throw any rocks, and their parents were advised of the complaint.
Bicyclist complaint. Two bicyclists were reported riding in the middle of the road and refusing to let traffic past them going northbound on Stonebridge Trail, south of Otchipwe Avenue.
Property damage and theft report. The driver-side rear window of a vehicle parked at the St. Croix Boom Site on Saint Croix Trail was smashed and a purse taken from the back seat.
Slumper. Police woke up a woman slumped over the driving wheel of her running vehicle in the parking lot of the Walgreens at 1965 Donegal Drive. It was determined her blood sugar was low so she drank a Mountain Dew and her condition improved.
