The Washington County Bluegrass Festival will feature four bands Saturday during the 11th annual shindig at Lake Elmo Park Reserve.
The Roe Family Singers kick things off at 3 p.m., followed by the High Strung String Band at 4 p.m., the Barley Jacks with Brian Wicklund at 5 p.m., and the High 48s with Marty Marone of Tangled Roots at 6 p.m.
Vendors will sell food and merchandise.
Admission is free, but a daily pass of $5 will be required for each vehicle entering the park at 1515 Keats Av. For more information, call 651-430-8370.
Lake Elmo will open its new library in conjunction with Lake Elmo Days, the city's annual fall festival.
The weekend festival kicks off at 6 p.m. with a collector car show, the Elmo Amazing Race Challenge and a concert by Ken Wanovich in Lions Park.
Lake Elmo Days continues on Saturday with a parade at noon followed by a business expo, kids carnival and teen challenge, a pig roast, silent auction and a concert by Wheelhouse.
The White Bear Lake Area Rotary Foundation will hold its Taste of White Bear Lake from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Pine Tree Apple Orchard, 450 Apple Orchard Road.
Along with food, wine and beer tastings, the event will include music, hayrides and a silent auction. Tickets are $30. Call 651-738-3022.

The Lift Bridge Brewery is seeking volunteers to pick hops that will be used for its new brew, Harvestor.
Volunteers will work from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hippity Hop Farms in Forest Lake. Bluegrass music and beer will be provided. A post-picking concert back at the brewery will cost $8. Music, food and beer will start at 9 p.m. Call 1-888-430-2337.
