The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office has launched an online service for residents who want to report concerns anonymously.

The Community Concerns Form went live last week on Night to Unite, also known as National Night Out. Residents can report quality-of-life issues or share ideas.

"We just hope that it's an easy way for people to send us a comment," sheriff's spokesman Randy Gustafson said.

Emergencies and time-sensitive information should still be reported to 911.

The online form has space for a 700-word comment. Residents can include contact information if they wish but can also comment anonymously.

A few days after it went live, the Sheriff's Office received a question about where, when and how it patrols Arden Hills. A second submission expressed concern about a deputy's driving habits, said Gustafson, who reviews the comments.

The form is on the bottom right side of the Sheriff's Office website: www.co.ramsey.mn.us/sheriff.
