AFTON

JUNE 22

Theft report. Someone in the 1000 block of Majestic Pines Trail reported missing jewelry items.

BAYPORT

JUNE 23

Watercraft violation. The driver of a power boat on the St. Croix River near the Xcel Energy Plant was cited for not having a Type IV throwable flotation device readily accessible. The driver was also given a warning for careless operation when an officer observed him failing to give way to a sailboat alongside his boat.

JUNE 24

Bow riding. The driver of a boat was cited for having the passengers riding on the bow of his boat with no rail on the St. Croix River near Bayport.

DENMARK TOWNSHIP

JUNE 23

Vandalism to trailer. A trailer was overturned in the area of Neal Avenue and 90th Street. A hatchet was found nearby and the trailer appeared to have hatchet marks on it.

LAKE ST. CROIX BEACH

JUNE 18

Theft report. Police received a report of a stolen purse in the 1800 block of Quinlan Avenue. An officer helped the caller retrace her steps and she was able to locate the purse in the garage.

MAY TOWNSHIP

JUNE 24

Missing parent. An officer helped a 5-year-old find his father at Big Marine Park Reserve, 17495 Manning Trail.

OAKDALE

JUNE 13

Bicycles in skate park. Three juveniles were given a verbal warning for riding their bikes in the skate park at Walton Park, 1584 Hadley Av.

Theft. Two men attempted to return a faucet worth $138 without a receipt at Mills Fleet Farm, 5635 Hadley Av. A review of the video surveillance tape showed they didn't enter the store with any merchandise.

JUNE 15

Disturbance. An officer responded to a report of two females swimming in a pool in the 5600 block of Hadley Avenue at 1:40 a.m. The officer asked the females, who had entered through a propped open gate, to leave the pool as they were not residents of the building.

JUNE 17

Burglary. A 55-inch television was taken overnight from a home in the 1200 block of Granada Court. The thief entered the residence through an unlocked door.

SCANDIA

JUNE 23

Fireworks issue. An officer in the area of Pomroy Avenue and Scandia Trail heard loud fireworks at 10:30 at night. The officer waited for half an hour but he was unable to determine where they originated.

WOODBURY

JUNE 16

Suspicious vehicle. A man in a blue Honda Accord was reported loitering behind Lisa's Fabulous Paws at 1524 Woodland Drive. Police determined the man was an employee of a nearby restaurant napping on his break.

JUNE 19

Possible jumper. Police received a report of a man trying to jump off the Tamarack Bridge over Interstate 494. Police made contact with the man who told them his vehicle broke down and he did not have his cellphone with him so he was waving at his wife as she was driving by.

JUNE 22

Stuck in elevator. Police responded to a report of a woman stuck in an elevator in a home in the 10000 block of Falling Water Lane. Police and fire department employees, were able to rescue her. She sustained no injuries.
