Intoxicated boater. A man was arrested at the Windmill Marina, 16065 32nd St., for DWI after his boat sank when he forgot to put in the drain plug. An officer noticed that he had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. He registered 0.17 on a breathalyzer test.

Ted Foss Law violation. A driver was cited for failing to move over a lane when he had room while driving by a traffic stop on Hwy. 36 near Demontreville Trail.
MAY 18
Rattlesnake. Someone in the 8000 block of Grey Cloud Island Drive reported a rattlesnake in the corner of their garage. By the time an officer arrived a neighbor had removed the snake, which turned out to be a bull snake.

Watercraft violation. A boater on the St. Croix River was given a ticket for not having enough personal flotation devices on board. He was also given a verbal warning about violating a no-wake zone.
MAY 19
Quick change artist. A man tried to quick change an employee at Subway, 360 St. Croix Trail, by asking for change for a $20 bill. The employee was able to get the money back before the man left the restaurant.
MAY 18
Trespassing. A shirtless man on the St. Andrew's Lutheran Church property, 900 Stillwater Blvd., was cited for trespassing.
Theft. A BMX trick bike worth $400 was stolen from behind St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Blvd.
MAY 23
Noise pollution/neighbor dispute. Police received a call about an ongoing issue with a car alarm sounding in the 6100 block of Upper 48th Street. Police advised the registered owner of the vehicle about the complaint.
Theft. Three juveniles were cited for theft after getting caught trying to steal merchandise from Kmart, 7191 10th St.
MAY 19
Disturbance. An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Kindross Road on a report of a man yelling vulgar comments to no one. The officer spoke with the man, who stated that he was upset because the complainant's dog had defecated on the sidewalk.
MAY 18
Ordinance violation. Police received a call from someone concerned that a homeowner in the 6300 block of Edgewood Avenue is having too many garage sales. The ordinance allows two a year and the complainant contends there have been five at the residence. Police contacted the homeowner and determined that she was not in violation of the ordinance.
Indecent exposure. A man in a gold-colored pickup truck asked for directions and then exposed himself to a woman jogging in the area of Central Avenue and Valley Creek Road.

Burglary. A woman was caught taking beer from a refrigerator in a garage in the 3900 block of Bailey Ridge Draw.
MAY 21
Theft. A man was seen on a surveillance tape stealing a golf putter worth $350 from the pro shop of Prestwick Golf Club, 9555 Wedgewood Dr.
MAY 22
Gas drive-off. Police received a report of a man pumping $85.92 worth of gas into a gold pickup truck at SuperAmerica, 1551 Woodlane Dr., and driving off without paying. The vehicle had been reported stolen in Minneapolis.
Found guinea pig. A brown and white guinea pig inside a clear plastic hamster ball was found in the 10000 block of City Walk Drive.
