Six people are recovering after a two-car collision in Afton sent them to the hospital Monday night.
Two Woodbury residents, 17-year-old Blake Sowle and his passenger, an unnamed 17-year-old, were listed in critical condition at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
Four others were treated at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, where they appeared to be in stable condition with lesser injuries, she said.
The sheriff's office said Sowle's sports utility vehicle collided with a passenger truck driver by Benjamin Lower, 36, of Lakeland.
Lower and three girls, two 3-year-olds and a 6-year-old, were treated for injuries that were not serious. Authorities said the girls were all in proper child-restraint seats.
The collision occurred at Neal Avenue South and 15th Avenue South about 7:30 p.m. Monday.
