The old Met, in Pictures

Posted by: James Lileks Updated: April 12, 2010 - 2:41 PM

Ample parking! Arbitrary color scheme!

The field:

Early evening game? Seems so, from the shadows and the sky. A detail of the scoreboard:

NSP, Grain Belt, Gluek's - that's as Twin-Cities as it gets. And I do believe that's Reddy Kilowatt on the board, too.

One more: a postcard I bought last weekend.

Much mourned. Do we have it better now? Absolutely.
