A chemistry professor was among six Rochester men arrested in a child pornography sting.
Christopher DeZutter, 47, was charged with 10 counts of disseminating child pornography and one count of possessing it. A lecturer at University of Minnesota in Rochester, DeZutter admitted during execution of a search warrant last week that he had battled his interest in child pornography since 1996, according to an Olmsted County criminal complaint.
Disseminating child pornography carries a sentence of up to seven years in prison and a $10,000 fine; the maximum sentence for possession is five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
