It was an aggravating commute for drivers in the southeast metro where an early morning rollover crash on Hwy. 52 left a miles-long backup in its wake. The initial reports say a southbound vehicle crossed over the median and rolled over in the northbound lanes just north of Concord Blvd. That tied up traffic for a couple hours with the backup extending near the Koch Refinery. At present, traffic is flowing feely in the area.

In Roseville, a four-car crash at the interchange of I-35W, Hwy. 36 and Hwy. 280 led to a major snarl for nearly an hour. The crash at 7:25 in the southbound lanes of 35W crammed traffic on that freeway and brought westbound Hwy. 36 traffic to a standstill. The backup kicked in at Dale Street and that remained in place until just after 8 a.m. when the crash cleared.

Minneapolis had its share of traffic snarls. Two separate wrecks on westbound 94 at LaSalle Avenue crippled traffic in downtown for about 30 minutes. Westbound 94 came to a halt as far back as Riverside Avenue following the trouble that begain at 6:45 a.m.

West metro drivers escaped all the mayhem as traffic hummed along without issue. South metro drivers were inconvenienced with a wreck on northbound 35W at 98th Street around 7:30 a.m. That crash was shortlived and traffic got back to normal fairly quickly.

At present, our slow downs are on eastbound 94 from Huron Blvd. to Hwy. 280 and on southbound 35W at Diamond Lake Road. That is where we have a crash in the left lane.
