The Wednesday commute has gone south in a hurry with a flurry of stalls and crashes conspiring to clog traffic on most major routes. Wet roads also are playing a factor in places where we don't have accidents.

The best advice is to be patient and plan on adding extra time to the drive into work.

Here is the current list of hot spots in terms of crashes and stalls:

Westbound 94 has a crash at County Road 17 in Lake Elmo and a stall in the center lane at John Ireland Blvd. in St. Paul.

A crash is blocking the left lane of northbound Hwy. 100 at 26th Street. Things are not moving from I-494. It's 25 minutes up to 394.

Westbound 494 jams on the Wakota Bridge and slows again near a crash at Pilot Knob Road in Eagan.

Eastbound 494 comes to halt at Flying Cloud Drive and doesn't pick up speed until near Hwy. 100.

Northbound Hwy. 169 plugged up due to crash at Anderson Lakes Pkwy.

Look for a right shoulder residing fender bender on northbound 35E at Lone Oak Road.
