8:20 a.m. update: More mishaps

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: August 21, 2014 - 8:20 AM

The latest in a long series of mishaps is on southbound Hwy. 169 at 77th Avenue in Brooklyn Park. The carnage is in the left lane. Also watch for a guy on the phone standing near the guardrail.

Speaking of guard rails, one of the newspaper's trucks got stuck on one on the downtown Minneapolis exits from northbound 35W.  That's enough to gum things up all the way from Diamond Lake Road. Plan on 18 minutes from Crosstown up to I-94.

Northbound 494 is seeing pockets of congestion from Hwy. 169 up to 394, a 20 minute trip.  And southbound 35W continues to struggle with 45 minutes from the Forest Lake Split to downtown Minneapolis.

Here are our crashes working at this hour.

Northbound 35W a new wreck at 28th Street

Westbound 94 at Snelling Avenue

Southbound 35E at the 694 Junction.

And I am just hearing of a problem on Hwy. 61 in the area of Warner Road.
