Good morning, commuters!

The Minnesota State Fair starts in a little less than an hour. The showers and thunderstorms may keep a few people away this morning, but do look for extra traffic on roads near the fairgrounds, including Como Avenue, Snelling Avenue, Larpenteur Avenue and Hamline Avenue. Main line routes near the fair, such as I-94 and Hwy. 36 are likely to see extra traffic.

Metro Transit is running special express buses to the fair from 20 park and ride lots while the State Fair is operating shuttle buses from 33 free off-site lots, so bus traffic will be on the increase around the Great Minnesota Get Togther.

With the wet roads, take it easy out there. We have a rollover with injuries on eastbound I-94 at Wabasha Street in downtown St. Paul.

A note for Northstar riders who will catch the first inbound trip at the Anoka or Coon Rapids stations: Board trains on the outbound platform.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
