Good morning, commuters!

All the All-Star Game hoopla is over and downtown Minneapolis streets should be back to normal Wednesday as 6th Street between 1st Avenue and Hennepin Avenue reopens and all other game-related road closures are history.

Commuters in Inver Grove Heights probably wish the lane closures on Hwy, 55/Hwy. 52 between Concord Blvd. and Argenta Trail were a thing of the past. On Tuesday, backups developed both morning and evening as the highway was reduced to a single lane in each direction.

We have no traffic hassles as we start Wednesday. The early birds will be able to sail right along.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
