Good morning, commuters!

Interstate 35E between Hwy. 36 and downtown St. Paul is open in both directions. MnDOT had it shut down to push the Larpenteur Avenue bridge into place overnight. That had the freeway closed from 9 p.m. last night. The work didn't get done so MnDOT will try to finish again tonight.

Interstate 35W is at full strength at Black Dog Road. MnDOT reduced the freeway there to a single lane to remove a dike that was put up to prevent flooding.

Two projects still underway include the ramp from westbound 94 to northbound 35E. That ramp is closed. Drivers on eastbound Hwy. 212 at Shady Oak Road will find the left lane blocked for road work.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
